Crystal Bridges 

Founded by Alice Walton, Crystal Bridges is envisioned as a premier national art institution dedicated to American art and artists. Beaver Lake was completed in 1966 and is nestled high in the Ozark Mountains located primarily in Northwest Arkansas. This 28,370-acre lake has 2,008 acres of campgrounds and over 650 individual campsites. With 487 miles of shoreline highlighted by limestone bluffs, Beaver Lake offers a world of recreational opportunities including fishing, water-skiing, camping, boating and more. Beaver Lake Offers smallmouth bass fishing, largemouth bass fishing, and striper bass fishing, not to mention plentiful supplies of crappie, bream, white bass, channel and spoonbill catfish.

Three-fourths of Beaver Lake is in Benton County, the remainder in Carroll County.

As a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas, I have to say Beaver Lake is one of my favorite places! I grew up on the south end of the lake in Springdale. I was even married in my parents yard with Beaver Lake as the beautiful backdrop! Check out the photo below. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to get married!

My husband, Jerry and I have enjoyed the lake ever since we began dating - in fact he purchased his boat the same year we began dating (and I believe that might be the reason he knows how long we have been together :) We had a small lake cabin in Lost Bridge in Garfield for a few years and recently sold it and now have a lot in "The Estates of Lakeway" in Avoca - that conveniently has a boat slip for our boat!!! Our daughter, Madison loves the lake even at 3 she wants to visit as much as possible.
