I was doing some research on some new tools out there to better my marketing skills and how I present listings... I know there are a LOT of products out there and my goal is to do things "different". I came across this great site www.Animoto.com that you upload your photos... this can be to market yourself, your website, your skills or your listings... They basically take your photos, then you add music (which they have taken care of all copywrite laws on the music) and they make you a very nice video! Check it out - I was very impressed by the quality. There are different plans, too that you can choose from. See pricing below. It ranges from FREE (I like Free - but I am going to sign up for more options!!!) to $249 for unlimited for a year!
For $5 off - use this as your promo code field.

Check out the examples of videos on their site. Also you can upload to most all social networking sites with 1 button!!! These look better than your virtual tour and slideshows!!! Happy Marketing!
Here is a video I made for the website www.NWAFiresale.com

Thanks for sharing this information...I'm always up for FREE!
As a Real Estate Virtual Assistant, I'm always looking for new ways to market my client's listings. Thanks!
Hi Nicky,
Thanks for the info. I was familiar with Animoto, but have never tried them out. This is something that could be a nice an addition to people's slideshows or virtual tours - but not a replacement for them. There are other considerations, such as; distribution to places like REALTOR.com, MLS compliance, property information, agent information, etc. Animoto just offers a different kind of tool, with a different purpose.
My 2¢
: )
Yes - I think the more I play around with it I think it will be better served as a Commercial like ad. I can add to Realtor.com with it being "branded" b/c I have the enhanced Realtor.com listings... mls no - but I have been looking at how many "hits" i get from the mls links compared to others - and its not much... Have a great day thanks for the comments!
Nicky,
Thank you...I have learned about a new tool and I always appreciate when bloggers take the time to share.

P.s. I enjoyed reading your blog.
That's a pretty short video, but I like the production style. The one thing about video that I have trouble with is the music. It is really hard to come up with good music for videos that you actually have the right to use. How do you get around this?
That video is the "free video" only 30 seconds. I was giving it a try first to see if I liked it... Good thing is that with Animoto - they provide music that you dont have to worry about the rights... Same with You Tube - they have an "audio swap" with tons of music that you dont have to worry about it... I would like to know also where to get good music and I am willing to pay for it but havent found a place as of yet!!!
Nicky ~ Very cool. I didn't realize that YouTube had an audio swap. Video is definitely the direction that real estate is headed, so keep up the good work.
